Trump Invites Billionaire CEOs Including Elon Musk and Tim Cook for High Stakes China Trip,What Is Happening In The Trip?Is A New World Order Coming Up?

Donald Trump is set to travel to China later this week alongside some of America’s most powerful billionaires and corporate leaders in what analysts are calling one of the biggest business diplomacy missions in recent years.

According to reports, Trump has invited top executives including Elon Musk, Tim Cook, and Larry Fink to join him during meetings expected to take place with Chinese President Xi Jinping in Beijing.

The delegation is also expected to include several major Wall Street and corporate figures such as:

  • Stephen Schwarzman

  • David Solomon

  • Jane Fraser

  • Kelly Ortberg

  • Dina Powell McCormick

  • Sanjay Mehrotra

  • Cristiano Amon

  • Ryan McInerney

  • Michael Miebach

  • Larry Culp

The trip is expected to focus heavily on trade relations, artificial intelligence, technology competition, rare earth minerals, aviation deals, and the wider geopolitical tensions between Washington and Beijing.

The inclusion of Elon Musk and Tim Cook is especially significant because both companies have massive business interests tied to China. Tesla relies heavily on its Shanghai operations, while Apple’s manufacturing ecosystem remains deeply connected to Chinese suppliers and factories.

Larry Fink’s presence also signals the growing importance of financial cooperation and investment discussions between the world’s two largest economies.

Reports indicate Trump hopes the visit could unlock major business agreements and improve economic ties after years of tensions involving tariffs, technology restrictions, Taiwan, and global supply chain disputes.

The visit will also be closely watched because it comes during a period of rising geopolitical instability involving the Middle East, AI competition, and growing rivalry between the United States and China over global influence.

Some analysts believe the presence of billionaire CEOs alongside Trump shows how deeply business and geopolitics have become intertwined, especially as major corporations increasingly influence international diplomacy and economic strategy.

Notably absent from the delegation is Jensen Huang, despite speculation he could attend due to Nvidia’s major role in the global AI and semiconductor race.

The Trump Xi meeting is expected to take place between May 13 and May 15 and could shape the future direction of US China economic relations for years to come.
