Serial Killer on the Loose in Nyeri,This Is After Several Mysterious Murder Of Children

Fear and anger are spreading across Karatina in Nyeri County following the discovery of yet another murdered child near River Ragati, a case that has now intensified concerns that a serial killer could be targeting young children in the area.

Five year old Travis Wanjohi, who had been missing for weeks, was found dead with parts of his body dumped near River Ragati in Mathira. His disappearance had triggered a desperate search by family members, residents, and police, but the search ended in tragedy after his remains were recovered near the river.

Travis is now the third child reportedly found murdered and dumped near River Ragati this year, raising disturbing questions among residents over whether the killings are connected. The repeated appearance of bodies near the same area has created panic in Karatina and surrounding parts of Nyeri County, with many parents now afraid to allow children out of sight.

The case has also reignited attention on another disappearance involving schoolgirl Joy Wanjiru, whose belongings were reportedly found near River Ragati after she vanished while travelling home to Nyeri. Her disappearance shocked the region and fueled growing fears that something far darker may be happening around the Karatina area.

Residents are now openly questioning whether authorities are dealing with isolated murders or a coordinated pattern of killings targeting vulnerable victims. Community members have criticized security agencies for what they describe as slow progress and lack of answers despite multiple disturbing incidents linked to the same location.

Nyeri County has also experienced several other brutal murder investigations in recent months. Earlier this year, detectives arrested a suspect linked to the killings of two young women in Nyeri after investigators uncovered what authorities described as carefully planned murders involving mutilation and body disposal in remote areas.

In another shocking case, police investigated the murder of a woman and two children in Kagayu village after their bodies were discovered with severe injuries inside a house.

The growing number of violent killings has left many Nyeri residents demanding stronger investigations, increased patrols, and immediate action before more lives are lost.

For many families in Karatina, the question is no longer whether there is danger in the area. The question now is who is behind these killings, and how many more victims there could be before authorities find answers.
