Katheu vs Ruby: All This Over A Mubaba And I Cannot Make This Up

Okay I need you to sit down for this one.

Last night, two people who you probably follow, went at it in the DMs. And when I say went at it I don't mean the usual vague posting and subtle shades. I mean full names. Full history. Full receipts. At 1am. On Met Gala night of all nights.

Let me walk you through it.

How It Started

 Katheu slides into Ruby's. Either way, someone opened a door they were not ready for.

It starts casual. A little "you're late to the party." A little "I'll pray for you." The kind of thing you say when you want to start something but want the other person to look like they started it.

And then it escalated. Fast.

Katheu Comes Out Swinging

Katheu was not here to play nice. She came with information. Specific, detailed, years-old information about Ruby. Alcohol addiction. A neck tattoo she called ugly. A phone that apparently got stolen because of drinking. Things Ruby had clearly moved past and probably hadn't thought about in a long time.

And Ruby is sitting there like  how does she even know all of this?

But Katheu wasn't done. Because then she dropped the line that made everyone's jaw fall:

"Men will literally text even a pig that gives them attention."

And then she clarified exactly what kind of attention she was talking about. According to Katheu, Ruby was sending this man nudes. Not for love. Not for a relationship. For Glovo food orders.

I need you to understand that I did not make that up. That is what was said. Out loud. In a DM. At 1am.

The Man In Question

Now let's talk about this mubaba because he is the whole reason we are here.

Katheu says he is her ex. Her ex who, even after she dumped him, has continued to pay her medical insurance every year. Her ex who cleared her entire university fees. Her ex who, according to her, she can get back whenever she wants.

She basically said  this man is so down bad for me that even after I left him he's still financing my life.

And Ruby? According to Katheu, Ruby found out about this man and decided the best way in was through his DMs. With pictures. In exchange for food delivery.

Whether that's true or not I cannot verify. But Katheu said it with her whole chest and zero hesitation.

Ruby's Response

Here's the thing about Ruby though. She didn't crumble.

When Katheu brought up the drinking, she said  "that's not something you can attack me with." When she was called a terrible woman she came back with  "I'm not a terrible woman. I have grown so much in the last year and I will continue to do better."

At 1am. In a heated DM war. Over a mubaba and Glovo orders.

That kind of composure either means you're genuinely healed or you're a very good actress. Either way, respect.

She also pointed out the irony of Katheu lecturing her about drinking while being drunk herself during the conversation. Because Katheu literally admitted mid-argument  "I'm just drunk and bored."

So we have one person being accused of drinking too much. And the other one drunk, conducting this entire investigation, insulting someone's weight, and threatening to send screenshots. While watching the Met Gala.

Okay.

The Plot Twist

Just when you think it's wrapping up, Katheu drops this:

"Check your friends. Your inner circle. They're moles."

So someone close to Ruby has been feeding Katheu information. That's how she knows the history. That's how she has the details. There are people in Ruby's circle who are reporting back.

And then Katheu says she's going to find this man, get him back in her DMs, and send Ruby screenshots when she does.

All of this. At 1am. While drunk. While watching the Met Gala.

So Where Does This Leave Us

One woman says she dumped a man who still pays her bills and she can get him back anytime. The other is accused of sending nudes for jollof rice and chicken delivered to her door.

One came into the conversation drunk and left saying "keep praying for me." The other held her ground, defended her growth, and refused to let her past be used as a weapon.

The man himself? Somewhere out there. Paying insurance. Clearing fees. Receiving pictures. Completely unbothered I'm sure.

These are people with followers. With influence. With younger girls looking up to them.

And this is what was happening at 1am.

All this over one man.

I genuinely cannot.
