NIGHT OF GUNFIRE IN LOLGORIAN AS DEADLY POLICE OPERATION LEAVES TWO SUSPECTS DEAD
Fear and tension gripped residents of Lolgorian after a dramatic late-night police operation ended in gunfire, leaving two suspected criminals dead and another on the run.
According to police reports, officers attached to Lolgorian Police Station launched the operation after receiving intelligence linking a notorious gang to a series of violent crimes in the area. The suspects were reportedly connected to murders, robberies, and break-ins that have left residents living in fear.
The operation led officers to Olakira area, where the suspects were allegedly caught in the middle of breaking into a local pub. The gang is said to have been packing assorted alcoholic drinks before police moved in.
However, the suspects reportedly fled the scene on a motorcycle immediately after spotting officers. Police pursued them through the night before cornering them at Olkilorit area.

Police recovered an AK-47 rifle loaded with two rounds of ammunition, two Maasai swords, a claw hammer, assorted alcoholic drinks, and a red Boxer motorcycle believed to have been used during the escape.
The bodies of the two suspects were moved to Transmara West Sub County Hospital Level 4 Mortuary awaiting autopsy and identification.
Security officers have since launched a manhunt for the escaped suspect as investigations continue into the gang’s alleged criminal activities in the region.
