Breaking;A Famous Musician Has Been Arrested For Drug Trafficking

American rapper Kodak Black has reportedly been arrested in Florida on a felony drug trafficking charge involving MDMA, according to multiple U.S. media reports released on Thursday. Authorities say the rapper was booked into the Orange County Corrections Department after surrendering to law enforcement over an ongoing investigation linked to a 2025 case.

Investigators claim the case stems from a November 2025 incident outside the Children’s Safety Village in Orlando, where police responded to reports of gunfire. During the investigation, officers allegedly searched two vehicles a BMW and a Lamborghini after detecting the smell of marijuana. Reports state that authorities discovered drugs, large amounts of cash, firearms, and documents allegedly connected to Kodak Black.

According to court documents cited by U.S. outlets, police allegedly recovered MDMA, commonly known as ecstasy, along with approximately $37,000 in cash. Prosecutors are reportedly pursuing a trafficking charge because the amount exceeded Florida’s legal threshold for simple possession. Under Florida law, trafficking charges involving MDMA can carry mandatory prison sentences and hefty fines if a conviction is secured.

Kodak Black’s attorney, Bradford Cohen, has pushed back hard against the allegations, arguing that the case has a “weak legal basis.” Cohen claims the rapper was not inside the vehicle where the drugs were allegedly found and insists prosecutors are stretching the evidence to justify a trafficking charge. The lawyer says the defense plans to challenge the case aggressively in court.

The arrest adds another chapter to Kodak Black’s long history of legal troubles. Over the years, the rapper has faced multiple arrests involving firearms, drugs, probation violations, and assault-related allegations. In 2021, then-U.S. President Donald Trump commuted Kodak Black’s federal prison sentence related to weapons charges.

Online reaction to the arrest has been sharply divided. Some fans argue the case appears exaggerated and believe the evidence may not support a trafficking conviction, while critics point to Kodak Black’s repeated legal issues as evidence of a pattern that continues to follow the rapper throughout his career.
